Since I couldnt get an answer in the NCR forum I will give it a try here.

Does anyone know how I can disable slot 4 besides removing the cassette on a Persona 86 ATM? I want the ATM not to see slot 4 at all in the software. I am using two dual pick interface boards as I dont have a single pick interface board. I tried going into the registry and making some changes but no luck.

Any ideas anyone?

Do you want that the ATM wouldn't see the 4th cartridge in the software? What software you use?

Correct I dont want the software to see Cassette 4 Installed and I am using NCR APTRA. The reason for this is because the bank does not use slot 4 and we a software that monitors the ATM. If the software detects there is no cassette installed in slot 4 it will generate several error tickets. So I need to make it think there is only 3 cassettes installed using a dual pick interface board.
I have tried removing pins from the pick board to see if that would work but the ATM still showed cassette 4 missing.
