Thanks guys, it worked. The problem was that I was using pictures with non-standard size (i.e. different than 800x600 and 1024 x 768). When i edited my image to be exactly 1024x768 it worked fine.
Seems that Aptra Advance does not stretch a non-common sized images (977 x 834).
